Oh no..My favourite city, Venice, is in a major flood or "acqua alta" (high water) to be more precise. The cause of flooding in Venice is mainly because of one of these two reasons, which are the major storm and tide or the public drainage systems. But thank God many sources stated that this routine flood only happens for 1 to 2 hours depending on the level of the tide. I'm begging you Venice not to go under the water...I haven't got a chance to visit YOU....But looking at the Italians who seems to worry nothing about the high water...I will not worry about it either..Venice will be back to the normal Venice soon=)
